KUZU TV ("we"), as data controller under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), informs you about how your personal data is processed.

KUZU TV is a TV player and live captioning tool for deaf and hard-of-hearing viewers. It does not provide any channels or content; it only plays the M3U / Xtream playlist that you add.
Identity and contact: name, mobile phone, e-mail, city, username. Your password is stored only as a salted hash that cannot be reversed.
TV device: MAC address or device ID, TV model, platform, app version, IP address, last-seen time and a random per-session identifier.
Playlist: the M3U link or Xtream credentials you add.
Payment: result, amount and date of your payment. Card details go only to PayTR and never reach us. With automatic renewal your card is stored by PayTR; we keep only PayTR's card token and the last 4 digits, which are deleted when you cancel.
Security records: logins, failed attempts, device changes and similar events.
Captions: while captions are on, the audio of the stream you watch is converted to text on our own servers. Audio is not recorded. For films and series the produced caption text may be kept so that later viewers of the same episode get it instantly; it contains no information about you.
Setting up and running your subscription, linking your TV to your account, delivering your playlist and captions — necessary for the performance of the contract (KVKK art. 5/2-c).
Keeping invoice and payment records — legal obligation (art. 5/2-ç).
Preventing account sharing and fraud, keeping security logs, improving the service — our legitimate interest, without harming your fundamental rights (art. 5/2-f).
Through the registration and account pages you fill in on your phone, automatically by the KUZU TV app on your TV, and from PayTR for payment results.
PayTR (payment institution) for payments; the server/hosting company that hosts our servers.
Scene descriptions for deaf viewers: a few still frames of the scene and the caption text may be sent to an artificial-intelligence service provider located abroad. No name, phone, e-mail or account information is sent. This transfer is done under KVKK art. 9.
Public authorities, only when legally required. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.
Account data: while your account exists; deleted or anonymised after you close it, unless the law requires otherwise. Payment records: 10 years (tax law). Security records: up to 12 months. Backups: encrypted, up to 8 weeks.
You may learn whether your data is processed, request information, learn the purpose and whether it is used accordingly, know the third parties it is transferred to in Turkey or abroad, request correction, deletion or destruction and notification of these to third parties, object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis, and claim compensation for damages.
